I'm going to get a home charger for my Born. Can I set it to charge only at night when electricity is cheaper? Do I need a special type of charger for this? Also, will my car start charging right away when I plug it in?

Yes, you can set a home charger to charge at night when electricity is cheaper...Look for a smart charger that allows you to schedule charging times...and also most chargers will start charging as soon as you plug them in, but some may have settings to delay charging until your scheduled time.
Right now, my bro has the car set up for 80%, and he's using the Ohme Pro charger to schedule charging. But he said it can be a bit of a hassle having to manage charging through two separate systems. Ideally, it would be great if the car and the charger could sync up better.
