Is leaving an EV at 88% charge for a few days safe?

Hey everyone! So, I have heard it is not great to leave an EV sitting at 100% charge for too long. After picking up my car from the dealer (who charged it to 100%), I ended up driving around for a bit to try and burn off some battery before heading home. I managed to get it down to 88%, but now I am wondering if that's safe enough to leave it so for like 4 days. I won't need to use the car in the next 4 days, and normally I keep the charge capped at 80% as recommended. So, my question is, would leaving it at 88% for 4 days cause any harm to the battery long-term?

Be concerned only if you leave the battery at 100% for so many days. You are below that level, so that is perfectly fine. It won't harm the battery. As a future advice, try to charge the car closer to when you need the car.

You're good! Leaving it at 88% for a few days won't hurt the battery at all. I've done that before too, especially before a trip. Just try to avoid leaving it at 100% for too long, and you're all set. No worries!
