Hi drivers!
So, a buddy of mine just picked up his Born a few days ago after switching over from a Leaf (he is not used to forums, this is why I am posting for him). He is loving the car so far, but he is still figuring out some of the details. I thought I would check with the community here to see if there are any tips or things he should look out for.
These are the things he has already sorted:
- he made sure to check for the transport blocks in the front shocks, so no worries here;
- the dealer threw in the mats, so that's covered;
- he has set up the app, but I am not sure he has explored all the features yet;
- the car's running on 3.0 software - seems like it is all smooth on the front.

He has got the car with the 19" Typhoons, but we are not sure if it comes with a jack and tool kit or if it is just the gunk and inflator. Does anyone know what is standard with those wheels?

You won't need a tire repair kit with 19-inch tires because they're self-sealing. But try checking the gaps between the bodywork and the sills at the back of the car.

Tell him to invest in a portable jack or tire-changing kit. I wish I had someone to tell me this one before. So far, he has a good start. Congrats!
