The torque boost is insane! That rear motor's pumping out 402 lb-ft (from 229 lb-ft), cutting the 0-62mph to just 5.7 seconds. This bad boy's now the speed demon of Volkswagen Group's MEB platform.

For sure, I'll totally add this to my list once its out! The regular Born is a solid EV, but it's no hot hatch, that's for sure. This new one's gonna turn heads, especially for those who've been told they can't have a Golf R!
