Hey guys,

My wife got her Cupra Born last month, and I thought I’d try out the ACC yesterday. But guess what? I got hit with a “Main Switch Deactivated” error message. What even is that? No clue what’s going on!
Any idea what I might be messing up? I’m totally lost here!

Need help, pls. Mat

Right under the set button, you'll find the main switch. I can't quite recall its exact appearance, but I believe it has a 0/1 symbol or something similar on it.

It usually means the Adaptive Cruise Control is temporarily disabled. Check the sensors are clear and try restarting the car. Double-check the settings too. If it keeps happening, take it to the dealer.

Try this! The Born buttons work a bit differently, and I think you accidentally turned it off. The car keeps the switch status. Once ACC is on and engaged, pressing "SET" will set the ACC to the current speed. One click of "SET" will decrease the speed by 1 mph, and after braking, pressing "RES" will return the speed to the previous setting. One click of "RES" will increase the speed by 1 mph. Hope this helps!
